Responsibilities
- Assist customers with their shopping needs and provide product information.
- Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently during transactions.
- Restock shelves and maintain product displays to ensure optimal presentation.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store environment.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly and accurately manage cash drawers.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus.
