Village Point is seeking an experienced Dietary Aide to join our team!
Village Point is a Springpoint Senior Living Community located in Monroe, NJ. We are seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to join our team. At Springpoint, the Dietary Aide performs a variety of routine kitchen duties including the preparation and serving of food and various functions of the dietary office.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare food for service in a sanitary fashion.
- Operate and clean necessary kitchen equipment.
- Perform quality assessment tasks as required.
- Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance in a timely manner.
- Serve food and beverages in the dining room as instructed and in accordance with established portion control procedures.
- Set tables in the dining room, etc. for service.
- Knowledge of therapeutic diets, served in accordance with diet order.
- Complete opening and closing side work as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in Food handling/food service industry preferred
- Familiarity with diet terminology and operation of food service department preferred
