What are the responsibilities and job description for the Counter & Kitchen Support Team Member position at Village Pizza Sturbridge?
Village Pizza is looking for a friendly, dependable team member to help with phones, customer orders, and general restaurant support.
This is a great role for someone who likes staying busy! Your main responsibility will be answering phones and accurately taking customer orders, but when things slow down, you'll jump in wherever help is needed.
What you'll do:
- Answer phones and take customer orders accurately
- Enter orders into our POS system
- Help customers at the counter
- Package and organize takeout orders
- Restock supplies
- Help with light food prep and basic kitchen tasks
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Help with dishes and cleaning as needed
- Pitch in with the team during busy shifts
We're looking for someone who:
- Is reliable and shows up when scheduled
- Is friendly and comfortable talking with customers
- Can stay calm and organized when the phones get busy
- Pays attention to details
- Is willing to learn
- Doesn't mind jumping in and helping wherever needed
- Works well as part of a team
Restaurant experience is helpful, but we're happy to train the right person.
Evening and weekend availability is especially important.
