Position Summary
The Chick-fil-A Kitchen Team Member (Back of House) is responsible for preparing and assembling food products that meet Chick-fil-A quality, safety, and cleanliness standards. This role works in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while delivering exceptional food and guest experience.
Schedule: Flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Essential Job Functions

- Prepare, cook, assemble, and package food products according to Chick-fil-A standards
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness in all kitchen areas
- Follow proper procedures for food handling, storage, and temperature control
- Operate kitchen equipment safely (grills, fryers, ovens, warmers, etc.)
- Restock supplies and maintain organized workstations
- Communicate and work effectively with team members
- Follow all health, safety, and company policies
- Maintain a positive, professional attitude at all times
Physical Requirements (ADA Compliant)
This position requires the ability to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
- Bend, reach, and move throughout the kitchen
- Work in a fast-paced, hot, and noisy environment
Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old (or meet state minimum age requirements)
- Able to work in the U.S. with proper authorization
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to follow directions and work in a team environment
- No prior experience required — training provided
