The Cardington Police Department is seeking a Police Officer for Road Patrol for a full-time position.
This position is inclusive of all inherent requirements for the position.
This position is subject to the Cardington Police Department Drug and Alcohol Testing Policy which includes pre-employment testing, post-accident testing, random testing, reasonable suspicion testing, return to duty testing, and follow-up testing. Starting wage is $24.96 per hour with potential increase depending on experience.
Applicants must be 20 years or older at the time of employment.
Requirements:
- Must be a United States Citizen, or current work permit status.
- Possess a valid Ohio Driver's License at the time of employment.
- Felony convictions and disqualifying criminal histories are not allowed.
- Completion of, or current enrollment in, an Ohio Basic Training Academy.
- Successful completion of extensive background
- Oral Review Board
- Psychological and Traits testing
- VSA or Polygraph if applicable
- Drug Testing
- Physical
- Chief interview
