Role Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our IT Field Support team in Barboursville. This role is perfect for a recent graduate or someone looking to start their career in IT. The ideal candidate will have an excellent attitude, a strong aptitude for learning, and a passion for technology and customer service, even if they have low or no formal experience. You will work closely with the IT Director and senior technicians to learn the ropes and provide hands-on support.
Key Requirements & Responsibilities (0-1 Years Experience)
Customer Service: Provide friendly, patient, and professional service to end-users on all support requests.
Technical Aptitude: Demonstrate a strong interest in and fundamental understanding of computing, networking, and hardware.
Hardware/Software Support: Assist in the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of desktop/laptop hardware, operating systems (Windows/macOS), and common office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office 365/Google Workspace).
Troubleshooting: Follow standard operating procedures to diagnose and resolve basic IT issues, escalating complex problems as needed.
Documentation: Accurately log all service requests and resolution steps in the ticketing system.
Inventory: Assist with tracking, receiving, and deploying IT assets.
On-Site Support: Be able to travel locally within the Barboursville area and some remote locations to provide hands-on support as required.
