What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver position at Village Caregiving - Lexington, KY?
Village Caregiving - Lexington is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregivers in Clay City for split shifts on the weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Medications reminders
- Plan and prepare meals and snacks
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks and laundry as needed
- Escort clients to appointments and activities, if needed
- Engage in meaningful conversation and activities with clients to promote socialization and cognitive stimulation
- Monitor and report changes in clients' physical and mental health
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance and reliable transportation
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred but not required, we provide PAID training including CPR
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening
You will also be eligible for supplemental insurance. Vision, dental, accident, etc.
