LOCATION: 600 Washington Boulevard, Stamford, CT
JOB FUNCTION
The Fund Accountant will report to the Fund Controller. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Calculate fund incentive fees, investor balances and liquidity, investor redemption wires, monthly fund management fees.
- Handle various reconciliation processes.
- Compute monthly performance estimates.
- Review, allocate and process fund expense payments.
- Prepare monthly NAV package. In doing so, will analyze differences and liaise with the fund administrator to resolve.
- Prepare/review monthly internal and external reporting.
- Review monthly investor statements.
- Help meet various regulatory requirements and filings.
- Coordinate with fund administrator and external auditors to produce audited financial statements.
- Play an important role in efficiency initiatives, including IT projects, workflow optimization and vendor management.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least two years of public/private accounting experience.
- An undergraduate degree with a strong GPA.
- CPA preferred.
- Proficient knowledge of Excel.
- Strong intellect: ability to master a complex fund structure and logic.
