What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production/Customer Service position at Viking Tool and Gage?
Summary of Position: To support all aspects of the production department and complete duties as assigned by the Production Manager in order to provide quality products in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.

- Customer Service
- Receive and process sales orders
- Send sales order acknowledgements and updates per customer requirements
- Manage communication with customer including order status
- Monitor and update customer requirements through EDI transactions
- Update and monitor inventory stock requirements
- Work Order Management
- Create and manage work orders as needed to process customer requirements
- Print labels as needed
- WIP to finished goods when parts approved for inventory
- Shipping
- Get freight quotes as needed for shipments or expedites
- Process shipment paperwork per customer requirements
- Schedule freight pick-up per customer requirements
- Supply paperwork and corresponding labels to shipping department
- Update shipment status as required by customer
- Perform other duties as required
Compensation based on experience.
New Hire Bonus - $250 at 6 months, $500 at 1 year.
Benefits start the 1st of the month after 60-day probation period
