Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Direct oversight of service technicians, pick up & delivery drivers, yard personnel, and shop personnel.
- Review all paperwork, including manifests and routing tickets, for completion and accuracy.
- Monitor service levels and deliveries to ensure optimal efficiencies.
- Recommend measures to improve operational practices and quality of customer care.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure excellent communication within the region.
- Resolve customer service and delivery issues in coordination with other departments.
- Coordinate asset transfers with Operations Managers at other branches.
- Analyze and report on operational activities, such as service levels, routing efficiency, labor & overtime, and fuel.
- Develop and implement standard practices and efficiency in collaboration with the Branch Manager.
- Interview, select, and develop team of responsive service technicians to achieve customer satisfaction and grow sanitation services.
- Administer fleet DOT administration, including training, logbooks, inspection & record maintenance.
- Review, resolve issues, and approve payroll and time off requests in HRIS weekly.
- Coordinate safety training and initiatives with Safety & HR department.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews and contribute to employee development.
- Create and maintain a positive, safe, and effective work environment.
- Operate a variety of company vehicles.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
