Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Guard to join our security team. This role is crucial for maintaining safety and security in various environments, ensuring the protection of personnel and property.
Compensation: $20 per hour
Hours: 36 to 48 per week
Rotating schedule Sunday to Saturday
Immediate start
Must have License Type G, 3 years of experience as Armed Security, high school diploma, reliable way of transportation.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect unauthorized activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems to identify potential threats or suspicious behavior.
- Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a visible presence to promote safety.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary, providing detailed reports of incidents.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed during emergencies.
- Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance skills in loss prevention and conflict management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in law enforcement, military service, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate CCTV systems effectively for monitoring purposes.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
- Must possess a valid armed security guard license or certification as required by state regulations.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings as part of the hiring process.
