Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer- full time (2) to join our team. And (1) On call.
12 hours shift Monday to Friday 12 hours, weekends from 9am to 5pm, rotating schedule
Retail environment
Starting date May 19th, 2025
Compensation range:$20- $25
- Must have level 3 License
- High School diploma
- CPR, First Aid certification is a Plus
- Reliable transportation
- Your own weapon, outer carrier or bullet proof vest, duty belt III.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, providing assistance as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities, ensuring all security measures are in place and functioning correctly.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and any actions taken during shifts.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to ensure safety and security protocols are followed.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying vulnerabilities and recommending improvements.
Experience
- Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
- Strong conflict management skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential.
- A background in military service or law enforcement can be advantageous for this role.
