SUMMARY OF DUTIES
This position is responsible for merchandising products at customer stores, and assuring that all products are presented and organized according to company merchandising standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Stocks existing shelf space at stores.
2. Stocks all immediate consumption coolers and cold drink equipment.
3. Builds and maintains package specific displays in compliance with company standards.
4. Maintains merchandising standards while rotating products to assure freshness.
5. Maintains clean and organized products in the back-room, including condensing and rotating product.
6. Ensures high level of friendly and professional customer service with customers and store managers.
7. Delivers driver shortages when necessary.
8. Maintains communication with sales reps and drivers regarding accounts.
9. Cleans up spills and damaged product and maintains equipment cleanliness at customer location.
10. Responds to customer issues and follows up as necessary.
11. Completes all required paper work correctly.
12. Collects money due on an account when required.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Customer service experience preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Requires ability to communicate with customers and co-workers.
- Must be able to use personal vehicle for work.
- Requires a valid driver’s license with current automobile insurance, and satisfactory completion of a Motor Vehicle Check according to Vehicle Safety Policy.
- Ability to operate a manual pallet jack and 2- and 4-wheel carts in order to push/pull up to 2,200 pounds.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to work independently without close supervision.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
- Works in a retail store environment majority of the time.
- Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions when going in and out of stores and on the road.
- Occasionally exposed to extreme cold when handling product in customer coolers.

Ground to Waist Lift (Rarely) up to 55# (5 gallon bibs, pre-mix tanks, co2 tanks)
Ground to 60” (Continuously) up to 40# (cans, 20 oz, 2 liters)
Ground to 60” (Rarely) up to 55# (5 gallon bibs, pre-mix tanks, co2 tanks)
Carrying:
Front Carry (Occasionally) 25 foot carry up to 55# (cans, 20 oz, 2 liters, 5 gallon bibs, pre-mix tanks, CO2 tanks )
Pushing/Pulling:
Dynamic Pushing/Pulling (Frequently) 2- or 4-wheel cart loaded with up to 200# (10 cases cans, kegs) for up to 500 feet
Dynamic Pushing/Pulling (Frequently) sliding product at variable heights (from floor to 60” level) from storage in truck/warehouse and while merchandising (up to 30#) Dynamic Pushing/Pulling (Rarely) 2-wheel cart loaded with 165# up/down ramp
Dynamic Pushing and Pulling (Occasionally) Manual pallet jack loaded with up to 2200# (full pallet) for up to 500 feet
Ambulatory Activity:
Standing/Walking (Continuously) standing on variable surfaces throughout entire shift
Climbing (Rarely) Step up/down from 15-19” platform/step heights
Repetitive use of hand/grasping: (Frequently) Light to forceful manipulating/grasping of product, carts, doors.
Reaching: (Frequently) Up to 32 inches in front of body at floor to 60” heights while reaching for product.
Squatting/Stooping/Kneeling: (Frequently to Continuously) To as low as ground level while picking/stocking product.
Sitting: (Occasionally) seated in car for variable durations between route stops
