The Opportunity
At Vigilant, we protect our clients’ passions by crafting exceptional wine and cigar environments. For more than three decades, our New Hampshire team has combined skilled craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and innovation to create products for prestigious homes and businesses around the world.
As a growing luxury brand with a proud heritage, we’re looking for someone who wants to contribute across our business and grow with us. In this versatile, customer-facing role, you’ll help customers, support experienced sales consultants, and learn how our products go from an initial inquiry to a finished project.
Your time will initially be split between customer success and sales support and you will receive hands-on training and mentorship, build deep product knowledge, and take on increasing responsibility as your skills develop. For someone with the interest and aptitude, this role offers a great opportunity to grow into a full-time selling position based on demonstrated performance and readiness.
Who You Are

- You connect with people. You listen closely, communicate clearly, and bring patience and professionalism to customer interactions.
- You’re curious and coachable. You’re eager to learn our products and systems, apply feedback, and build your sales skills.
- You’re a team player who takes ownership. You adapt to changing needs, step in where you can help, and take pride in making the team more effective.
Experience in customer service, sales support, sales, business development, or another client-facing role is helpful. We also welcome early-career candidates who demonstrate maturity, initiative, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn.
What You’ll Do
Customer Success
- Serve as a responsive, professional point of contact for incoming customer calls and inquiries.
- Learn our products so you can answer questions, understand customer needs, and guide customers toward appropriate solutions.
- Own standard order processing, including order entry, ecommerce monitoring, and follow-up.
- Help resolve customer concerns, coordinating with colleagues when additional expertise or support is needed.
- Keep customers informed and maintain accurate records so commitments and next steps are clear.

- Schedule appointments and route qualified opportunities to Senior Sales Consultants.
- Support proposal preparation, customer follow-up, and the coordination of large or complex projects.
- Help finalize sales documentation and set up new projects accurately.
- Maintain current customer, lead, and opportunity information in the CRM so details and follow-ups don’t fall through the cracks.
- As your knowledge and confidence grow, participate in discovery conversations, prospect outreach, and increasingly independent sales activities.
