Job Summary: The Wood Production Associate is responsible for manufacturing high-quality wood products using a variety of equipment, including chop saws, band saws, CNC routers, wood turning lathes, end formers, sanders, and gang rip saws. This role requires the ability to read blueprints, use a tape measure, and apply basic shop math.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and routings to produce parts within required tolerances
- Repair damaged or defective wood products
- Perform final quality inspections on finished parts, including post-sanding
- Maintain simple tracking reports for product repairs
- Keep tools cleaned, changed, and in proper working order
- Keep production parts labeled and organized in the work area
- Operate all machine and hand tools safely and effectively
- Support team goals by completing related tasks as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Physically able to do the work requiring frequent standing (for 8 to 10 hour shifts) and bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 75 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, drawings, and diagrams
- Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment properly
- Basic shop math skills and ability to read a tape measure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Availability to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Basic computer skills
- Familiarity with sanding and wood routing machines and tools
