We are looking for a few great individuals to join our family of healthcare professionals. View Ridge Care Center is one of the last privately owned and operated skilled nursing communities around. We are a small facility with a mix of rehab and long term care residents. The employees are VRCC are spectacular and work as a team of friends. There is a dynamic food department that provides one of the most important services to our residents. If you love food, the elderly and working with a great team View Ridge is for you!

We are currently reviewing applicants, and scheduling interviews. The shifts for this position are either 5:00 - 1:30, and 11:30 - 8:00. And if you are pursuing your career in a healthcare related field we offer tuition reimbursement as well.

View Ridge Care Center has a full-time Dietary Cook position available in our Dietary Department. The Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving meals for our residents. Our cooks take pride in serving our residents with care. The dietary department is a very important part of our healthcare team. An applicant must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, read and write English, and have excellent customer service skills. We offer competitive pay and benefits.

Qualified Dietary Cook candidates will possess the following skills:

Enjoy serving and working with the elderly

Want to have fun while at work

Ability to cook large quantities of food without losing quality

Clear and open communication

Asks questions when unsure

Ability to work independently and as a team player

Ability to multi-task

Great attendance and positive attitude
