Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have the patience, empathy, and compassion needed to care for elderly patients
- Ability to work cooperatively with other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to utilize computer systems and the software necessary to perform functions of the role.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist elderly patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Monitor patient's vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Report changes in patients' conditions to the nursing staff
- Create and implement care plans to meet patients' individual needs
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
- Observe infection control procedures to promote a safe environment for patients and staff
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position; lift, push, pull, carry heavy objects. Stand for long periods of time, walk, bend and stretch.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Minimum requirements include the following:
- Geriatric Nursing Assistant license and in good standing with the state.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
Must have no disciplinary action in effect against certification.
At least one year of experience as a Geriatric Nursing Assistant in long-term care.
Salary : $20 - $25
