- Hourly Pay Rate: $46.90

- Provide specialized telemetry care for medical, surgical, and oncology patients
- Administer medications, perform IV starts, and manage ports
- Support patient comfort and safety through infection prevention and central line management
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including RT, OT, PT, and hospitalist services
- Chart patient progress accurately using Meditech Expanse EMR
- Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Support other units as needed, including floating to other Med/Surg areas
Required:
- Current active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in acute care
- Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to start
- Strong medication administration, IV skills, and central line management
Preferred:
- Chemo certification (verification required if available)
- Experience with Meditech Expanse EMR
- Prior telemetry nursing experience
