Join Our Team as a BMT Registered Nurse – Make a Difference in Oncology Care
Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse with specialized expertise in hematology and oncology, seeking an impactful role in a dynamic medical environment? We are currently recruiting two experienced BMT Registered Nurses to provide exceptional patient care within our Oncology / Mixed acuity PCU and MS unit. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in a cutting-edge setting while working 12-hour rotating or night shifts. Your skills will contribute to the treatment of complex conditions such as leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and undergoing advanced therapies including stem cell transplants and CAR-T therapy.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 1 year inpatient hematology/oncology experience with MS and inpatient hematology knowledge
- Chemo certification is mandatory
- Proficiency in EPIC electronic charting system
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to interpret dysrhythmias
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia management
- Skills in blood product administration, central and peripheral line management, and chemo administration
- Ability to perform sterile dressing changes and manage complex devices such as PICC lines and feeding tubes
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment with a focus on safety and patient-centered care
Nice to Have Skills:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Experience with autologous, syngeneic, or allogeneic stem cell transplants
- Familiarity with CAR-T therapy procedures
- Prior use of EPIC or other electronic medical records systems
- Additional certifications in oncology or critical care
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in hematology/oncology, particularly in transplant units
- Proven ability to handle complex medical cases involving chemotherapy and immunotherapy
Other Requirements:
- Valid RN license in good standing
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Preferred ACLS certification
- Willingness to work 12-hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:30) with a rotating schedule
- Ability to adapt to shift changes based on departmental needs
- Availability to start on 05/18/2026
