We are looking for an SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) with strong TypeScript skills and hands-on experience building automation using Playwright. You will design and develop scalable test frameworks, automate end-to-end UI/API test suites, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and help drive quality across the SDLC.

You will design and develop scalable test frameworks, automate end-to-end UI/API test suites, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and help drive quality across the SDLC.
Key Responsibilities (All Levels)
- Build and maintain automated test suites using Playwright TypeScript
- Develop reusable automation components (Page Object Model / fixtures / utilities)
- Automate UI and API test coverage and expand regression suites
- Integrate automation into CI/CD and ensure reliable test execution/reporting
- Collaborate with developers/product/QA to define test strategy and acceptance criteria
- Identify, triage, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and logs
- Improve test stability: reduce flakiness, optimize runtime, enhance debugging
- Strong automation experience with Playwright (preferred) and TypeScript
- Solid understanding of testing concepts: functional, regression, smoke, integration
- Experience with version control (Git) and working in Agile/Scrum teams
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI)
- Ability to write clean, maintainable automation code and perform code reviews
- API testing (Playwright API, REST, Postman, Pact, etc.)
- Experience with test reporting (Allure, Playwright HTML reporter, JUnit)
- Performance/basic load testing exposure (k6, JMeter)
- Cloud & containers (Docker, AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Experience with accessibility testing and visual testing
