Large architecture practice located in New York City looking for a Project Accountant to join their operations team. This is a well-run practice with strong operational support across all levels.
The Project Accountant will be supporting design projects from kickoff through closeout, working closely with project managers.
This position is on a hybrid schedule with three days a week in the office a competitive salary and generous benefits package.
What you'd own
- Project accounting end to end: setup, billing, revisions, timelines, expenses, revenue recognition, invoice processing, collections, and closeouts
- Quality control of standards and procedures
- Review of project documentation, contracts, and change orders
- Project review meetings and financial reporting
- Keeping PMs and stakeholders in the loop on project updates
What you'd bring
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent
- 5 years of project accounting experience in the architecture, interior design, or engineering industry
- Experience with Deltek
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
- Sharp attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
