What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time Bookkeeper/Office Manager position at vidcam?
We are looking for a book keeper/office manager to help with receivables and payables using Quick Books. We are an equipment rental company servicing the entertainment industry. Duties include book keeping and office management. Knowledge of service industry billing will be a plus. This is a part time job, two days per week IN PERSON ONLY. We can offer some work in production as it becomes avaliable provided the canidate is willing and enthusiastic to learn. Additional days and pay bonuses for field work.
- Manage all aspects of office bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable
- Perform corporate accounting tasks to ensure accurate financial records
- Prepare financial reports utilizing GAAP principles
- Utilize accounting software QuickBooks for efficient financial management
- Assist in maintaining general ledger accounts and reconciling discrepancies
- Collaborate with the team to implement financial concepts effectively
- Support the organization by handling clerical duties related to financial transactions
- Some office duties required.
## Qualifications
-Production experience is a plus and can be gained for qualified applicants.
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles
- Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work on site and in person
- Previous experience as an accounts payable clerk or similar role is advantageous
