Position Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Automotive Sales Consultant who is passionate about sales and customer service. The successful candidate will have knowledge of or a willingness to learn about our vehicles, services, and financing options. You will present both new and pre-owned vehicles in an informative manner to facilitate sales and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with vehicle selection by promoting model options, features, value-added products, and financing options in accordance with dealership policies
- Conduct vehicle test drives while ensuring all safety and traffic regulations are followed
- Provide clear explanations of vehicle features, warranty information, and servicing requirements during delivery
- Maintain accurate and organized sales documentation
- Negotiate sales effectively, ethically, and professionally to close deals
- Stay current with product knowledge, financing programs, and promotional offers
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and educational programs as required
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support dealership operations

Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid and unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Previous sales experience is a plus but not required
- Professional appearance and dependable work ethic
- Self-motivated and able to achieve goals with limited supervision
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to excellent customer service
- Basic computer and internet skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read and understand instructions thoroughly
