Front Desk Associate – Victory Lane Karting
Position Overview
Front Desk Associates are responsible for creating a welcoming, organized, and efficient guest experience from start to finish. This role is the first point of contact for guests and plays a critical role in communication, sales, and overall facility operations. Reliability, organization, and attitude will matter most in this role. This role sets the tone for the entire guest experience—first impressions start here.

Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience
· Provide a friendly, professional, and efficient check-in experience
· Clearly explain pricing, policies, and racing procedures to all guests
· Deliver thorough and engaging driver’s meetings for first-time racers
· Direct guests to activities, helmets and track areas
· Ensure guests understand race timing and how to follow “up next” screens
· Proactively assist guests who appear confused or need guidance
· Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed
· Answer phones, return missed calls, and check voicemails in a timely manner
Front Desk Operations
· Process transactions accurately and efficiently
· Maintain knowledge of all attractions and be able to assist across areas (arcade, VR, escape rooms, darts, axe throwing, etc.)
· Prioritize front counter flow to support overall facility efficiency
· Understand and enforce all policies, including waivers and race restrictions
· Stay organized and maintain awareness of race schedules and guest flow
Communication & Teamwork
· Communicate effectively with Track Officials and Event Coordinators to ensure smooth operations
· Relay important updates between shifts to maintain continuity
· Report any issues with guests, systems, or facility operations to management
· Coordinate with the team to ensure races and events run on time and without disruption
Facility & Front Area Maintenance
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter and guest areas
· Ensure essential supplies are stocked (head socks, receipt paper, towels, etc.)
· Keep up with laundry, tablecloths, head socks, and towels
· Complete all daily and nightly cleaning/closing tasks
· Ensure the facility is clean, stocked, and ready for the next day
Policy & Safety Awareness
· Understand and follow all policies related to waivers, youth races, double-seaters, and race eligibility
· Support overall facility safety by ensuring guests are properly informed and directed

Position Details
- Job Type: Full-time & Part-time (expect weekend and night rotations)
- Pay: $12.00 – $13.00 per hour (depending on experience)
