Gas Station Manager - Part time

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily station activities, including fueling operations, cashiering, and customer service interactions
• Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to ensure high performance and excellent customer experiences
• Oversee inventory control, purchasing, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize product availability and sales
• Handle cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) systems management, and payroll processing with accuracy and integrity
• Enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a secure environment for employees and customers
• Conduct employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and performance evaluations to build a strong retail team
• Monitor retail sales performance, implement marketing strategies, and manage pricing to meet sales targets
• Maintain operational management standards including bookkeeping, budgeting, inventory management, and store maintenance
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations while providing exceptional customer service through effective communication skills

Qualifications

• Proven management experience in retail or service environments with supervising responsibilities in a fast-paced setting
• Strong knowledge of POS systems, inventory management, cash handling, and retail math principles
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
• Demonstrated leadership in team management, training & development, and operational oversight
• Experience in recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, and payroll processing
• Familiarity with retail industry sales techniques including merchandising, pricing strategies, and marketing initiatives
• Basic math skills for cash reconciliation and inventory calculations; organizational skills for multitasking efficiently
• Previous experience in grocery stores or convenience retail environments is advantageous but not required
