Responsibilities:
Support the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in managing the Nursing Department while ensuring compliance with all regulations and guidelines.
Oversee nursing staff to ensure they are performing in alignment with their job descriptions and facility standards.
Participate in facility surveys and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Conduct daily rounds to confirm that all nursing personnel meet and exceed accepted care standards.
Qualifications:
Current and valid RN license in the State of Florida.
Minimum of 2 years of progressive nursing experience in long-term care (managerial experience preferred).
Proven leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
