Duties
- Lead and supervise daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members to build a strong, motivated workforce
- Conduct employee orientation sessions and ongoing training to promote professional growth
- Manage inventory control, purchasing, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to maximize sales
- Oversee cash handling, cashiering procedures, payroll processing, and bookkeeping tasks with accuracy
- Implement effective merchandising and marketing initiatives to attract customers and boost sales
- Supervise shift management, customer service standards, and store cleanliness to deliver an exceptional shopping experience
Skills
- Proven management experience with supervising teams in a retail or similar environment
- Strong negotiation skills for vendor relations and sales strategies
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Skilled in recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff
- Proficient in retail math, POS systems, inventory management software, and retail math calculations
- Demonstrated leadership in retail sales management and customer service excellence
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform bookkeeping tasks efficiently
- Exceptional organizational skills with time management expertise
- Knowledge of grocery store operations or wireless sales is advantageous
- Experience with budgeting, store merchandising, stock stocking, and promotional marketing
