As a CDL B Driver, you will run a route each day with at least one slinger. Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles such as heavy trucks according to traffic laws and vehicle codes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle mechanical integrity and readiness for each journey
- Respond promptly to traffic changes with quick decision-making and defensive driving techniques
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and safety checks
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for waste disposal.
- Knowledge of traffic laws, vehicle codes, and emergency stop procedures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance awareness
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed
