What You'll Do
- Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer
- Deliver freight to Meijer retail locations throughout the Midwest
- Pick up scheduled backhaul loads returning to Lansing, MI
- Complete both regional and local deliveries
- Operate primarily on drop-and-hook freight (approximately 85%)
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate DOT logs and paperwork
- Follow all DOT and company safety regulations
- Provide professional customer service
Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum of 3 months of recent CDL-A tractor-trailer experience
- Must meet DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Must have a safe driving record
- Must be able to obtain Hazmat endorsement within 90 days (reimbursement provided)
- Must be willing to work assigned schedule
- Must be able to safely operate sleeper tractors
- Must pass all required background and drug screenings
