This role ensures smooth execution of transportation, pet care services, and team development while fostering a safe, efficient, and positive work environment. The Ranch Manager serves as the primary onsite contact for Wranglers and supports both strategic and hands-on responsibilities.  This position requires flexibility and problem solving skills.   Other special projects or duties may be assigned. Core ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Employee SupportMonitor employee issues via Slack and assist Beau in resolutionServe as the day-to-day onsite go-to for WranglersManage seating charts and daily zone placementsConduct daily 3–5 minute huddles and dog roll calls with incident trackingPlan and execute team celebrations and morale-building activitiesStand in for employee breaks when neededAct as backup for Beau when she is offsite or outNotify Vicki and Beau about any client concerns or questionsAct as the Safety Monitor, working closely with BeauProvide input and collaborate with Beau on performance management and employee issuesTraining & OnboardingDevelop and manage new hire training schedulesConduct in-car and onsite training, check-ins, and coaching for new hiresCreate and maintain SOPs for ranch operations, driving, pickup/dropoff proceduresGive tech demos to new hiresAdd new hires to internal systems (Time to Pet, Slack, etc.)Develop and maintain team training curriculum (Dog Gurus, pet CPR, ongoing education)Transportation & Route ManagementPlan and manage daily driving routes and schedulesMonitor employee timing and route efficiencyAct as backup driver #2 when the primary ranch hand is unavailablePerform daily van inspections (interior and exterior), noting safety and damagePet Services and Boarding CoordinationManage pet sitting scheduling, calendar, and logisticsField pet sitting requests and coordinate with clientsUpdate Vicki’s calendar with pet sitting appointmentsCommunicate employee status updates to clients in collaboration with Beau and onsite shift leadsManage onsite new dog trial days and assessmentsWork with offsite financial consultant and coordinate pet sitting invoicesFacility & Vendor OversightCoordinate mowing and repairs with Carlos and MiguelContact and manage portapottiesContact and manage Cintas servicesEnsure ranch cleanliness, safety, and functionalityEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalentAnimal Certifications as appropriateOn the job trainingKnowledgeCustomer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
