Bartender

Vici Rooftop is a rooftop restaurant, bar, and private event venue in Savannah. We are looking for dependable, personable bartenders who can provide attentive service and help create a polished, welcoming experience for every guest.

Our bartenders work across regular restaurant service, private weddings, corporate events, celebrations, and interactive mixology classes. The role requires strong cocktail knowledge, consistency, professionalism, and the ability to engage comfortably with both individual guests and private groups.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare signature cocktails, classic drinks, wine, beer, and specialty beverages with speed, consistency, and precision
• Create an engaging, polished, and upscale bar experience for every guest
• Lead or assist with interactive mixology classes and private cocktail experiences
• Confidently explain spirits, cocktail techniques, ingredients, and drink preparation to guests
• Support private events, including weddings, corporate functions, rehearsal dinners, and celebrations
• Complete bar setup, ingredient preparation, garnish prep, restocking, and closing duties
• Monitor inventory and communicate product or supply needs to management
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout each shift
• Process POS transactions accurately and efficiently
• Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and event managers to provide seamless service
• Follow all alcohol-service, food-safety, sanitation, and company standards

What We’re Looking For

• Previous bartending experience is preferred, but we are willing to train strong bar-back candidates who are ready to advance
• Knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and proper bar techniques is strongly preferred
• Comfortable speaking in front of groups and engaging guests during mixology classes
• Fast, organized, detail-oriented, and able to remain composed during high-volume service
• Professional, personable, and able to adapt your service style to different guests and events
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Dependable, punctual, and prepared for every scheduled shift
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is essential
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and safely lift and move standard bar supplies

Compensation

• New bartenders begin at $8 per hour plus tips during training
• Bartenders who successfully complete training and demonstrate the required skills may be promoted to $12 per hour plus tips
• Strong earning potential during busy rooftop shifts, private events, and mixology experiences
• Total hourly compensation can reach approximately $25–$30 per hour, depending on business volume, event schedule, and tips
