About Us:
Formosa Bar is a mobile bar service currently based in Rincon and Tybee Island, Georgia. We serve weddings, private events, and celebrations within Southeast Georgia. Our core mission is to create memorable guest experiences through knowledge, hospitality, and attention to detail.
We're looking for experienced, reliable bartenders who can bring professionalism and confidence to every event. Our bartenders come from a variety of bar backgrounds and are trusted to think on their feet, adapt to each unique event, and provide polished service in fast-paced environments.
The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about spirits, beer, wine, and cocktails, comfortable engaging with guests, and understands that great hospitality is often found in the small details. Being proactive is important. Whether serving a custom cocktail at a wedding, recommending a wine pairing, or navigating an unexpected challenge with grace, you'll play a key role in creating celebrations our guests will remember.
The Essentials:
- Set up and break down mobile and stationary bars for events
- Prepare and serve beer, wine, and cocktails quickly and accurately
- Prepare signature cocktails that will vary by each event
- Provide warm, professional service in line with the tone of each event
- Monitor alcohol consumption and follow all responsible service policies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked bar area throughout the event
- Communicate with event coordinators and other staff to ensure smooth service
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous bartending/event bartending experience is required
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to adapt to different types of events and clientele
- Punctuality, professionalism, attention to detail, and a team-first attitude
- Ability to follow set recipes and standards
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and possess required certifications (either TIPS or ServeSafe)
- Ability to lift liquor boxes and ice bins, to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
