Veterinary Medical Director

VCA Beacon Hill Cat Hospital is seeking an Medical Director to complement our talented team in Alexandria, Virginia. This is an outstanding opportunity to continue practicing medicine while establishing the direction and medical quality of the hospital like an owner would, but without the risks of ownership. At VCA Beacon Hill Cat Hospital we offer the specialty of allowing our clients to choose a cat only hospital. We are AAHA accredited Part of the American Association of Feline Practitioners Cat Friendly Practice Gold. We offer primary, preventative and advance care as well as surgery. We also provide boarding and grooming services for our clients. Our hospital hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. We close for a full hour during lunch. Saturday is a half day starting at 8:00 am and closing at 1:00 pm We are looking for a full-time doctor, no on-call hours, schedule includes 4 days/week (Mon-Fri) with a rotating half day on Saturday. We are conveniently located right off Richmond Highway and just steps away from several restaurants and shopping.
