Position Overview

VVM is seeking an experienced Social Media Marketing Manager to oversee and execute social media marketing strategies for a portfolio of clients. This is not an entry-level content creation role. Applicants must have experience managing social media clients from strategy development through execution, reporting, and ongoing optimization.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, creative, analytical, and capable of independently managing multiple client accounts while maintaining deadlines and brand consistency.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy & Client Management

• Manage assigned client accounts from onboarding through ongoing monthly management

• Develop and execute platform-specific social media strategies aligned with client goals

• Participate in client strategy meetings when required

• Maintain professional client communication and relationship management

• Identify opportunities for growth, engagement, and audience development

Content Planning & Calendar Development

• Create monthly content calendars for assigned clients

• Research industry trends, seasonal opportunities, and local marketing initiatives

• Develop content themes, campaigns, promotions, and engagement strategies

• Coordinate content planning with internal VVM team members when needed

Content Creation

• Design branded social media graphics

• Create engaging captions aligned with each client's brand voice

• Develop static posts, carousels, reels, and promotional graphics

• Maintain brand consistency across all platforms and content pieces

Scheduling & Organic Marketing

• Schedule approved content through designated platforms

• Implement hashtag and keyword strategies

• Monitor organic engagement opportunities

• Support audience growth through strategic organic marketing efforts

• Assist with community engagement as directed

Analytics & Reporting

• Monitor account performance and platform analytics

• Track reach, impressions, engagement, follower growth, and content performance

• Prepare monthly analytics reports

• Provide recommendations based on performance data

• Identify trends and opportunities for future content improvements

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum 3 years of social media marketing experience

• Experience independently managing multiple client accounts

• Proven experience creating content calendars and executing social media strategies

• Strong graphic design skills

• Experience writing captions and adapting brand voice across industries

• Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, SocialPilot, or similar scheduling platforms

• Ability to analyze social media performance and present findings professionally

• Strong organizational and project management skills

• Ability to meet deadlines consistently

Preferred

• Experience working within an agency environment

• Basic knowledge of SEO and content marketing

• Basic knowledge of graphic design

• Experience creating and editing short-form video content

• Canva Pro experience

• Photography and content shoot experience

Performance Expectations

• Manage assigned client portfolio independently

• Meet all content production deadlines

• Maintain consistent quality and brand standards

• Submit monthly analytics reports on schedule

• Communicate proactively regarding project status and client needs

• Follow VVM workflows, approval processes, and internal procedures

Compensation

This is a flat-rate contractor position.

Compensation will be determined based on assigned client load and expected monthly deliverables. Contractor will be responsible for managing assigned accounts from content planning through reporting and optimization.
