Join the Vibrant Minds Charter School team as an Instructional Assistant! We are seeking caring, dependable, and collaborative individuals to support scholars in a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment. As a valued member of our educational team, you will work closely with classroom teachers, administrators, and school staff to reinforce instruction, promote positive behavior, and help every scholar thrive. Instructional Assistants provide classroom, small-group, and individual support, assist with daily classroom routines and supervision, and help create safe, engaging learning environments where scholars can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Assignments may also include supporting scholars with health, hygiene, feeding, mobility, toileting, diapering, or other personal care needs as appropriate to support their safe participation in the educational program.
Requirements / Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent Must meet one of the following paraprofessional requirements: * Associate's degree or higher; or * Completion of at least 48 semester units at an accredited college or university; or * Passage of an approved paraprofessional/basic skills assessment * Resume * Letter of Introduction * Three current Letters of Recommendation Preferred Qualifications * Experience working with school-aged children in educational, childcare, recreation, or youth development settings * Spanish bilingual skills are highly desirable
