Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth expertise in CMDB management, MID Server configuration, ITOM (IT Operations Management), API development, and advanced configurations like mTLS and Software Bill of Material (SBOM) modeling. This role also involves creating and deploying custom health dashboards and optimizing out-of-the-box dashboards to enhance operational insights and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• ServiceNow Platform Development & Administration
• Architect, configure, and manage the ServiceNow CMDB for effective asset and service tracking.
• Deploy and maintain MID Servers to enable robust system integrations and data aggregation.
• Drive ITOM implementations, including Discovery, Event Management, and Service Mapping.
• Dashboards and Monitoring Solutions
• Develop and deploy custom health dashboards tailored to customer and organizational requirements.
• Enhance and maintain out-of-the-box dashboards for better data visualization and reporting.
• Integration and API Development
• Design and implement secure APIs (REST/SOAP) for seamless system integrations.
• Ensure compliance with security protocols, including mTLS configuration for secure data communications.
• Advanced Configuration and Customization
• Model Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) for effective software asset tracking and compliance.
• Implement advanced ITOM solutions to optimize service delivery and monitoring.
• Stakeholder Collaboration
• Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior developers and administrators.
• Documentation and Best Practices
• Maintain detailed documentation for configurations, workflows, integrations, and customizations.
• Adhere to and promote best practices for change management and system governance.
  

Required Qualifications

• 8 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and administration.
• Deep expertise in configuring and managing the ServiceNow CMDB, including integrations and best practices.
• Proven track record in configuring MID Servers for data collection and integration tasks.
• Extensive experience with ITOM modules, including Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
• Advanced proficiency in creating and optimizing custom and out-of-the-box dashboards for monitoring and reporting.
• Strong experience with API development and integration using REST/SOAP frameworks.
• Expertise in mTLS configuration for secure communications.
• Experience with Software Bill of Material (SBOM) modeling and its applications.
• Strong scripting skills in JavaScript, PowerShell, or Python.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and their implementation in ServiceNow.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist, Certified Application Developer, or ITOM Specialist).
• Experience with advanced ITOM use cases such as anomaly detection and AIOps integrations.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and their integration with ServiceNow.
