Duties & Responsibilities:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The intern will support the Finance team with responsibilities including, but not limited to:
Financial Planning and Forecasting:
- Maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
- Analyze financial data, identify key drivers, and provide insights to enhance decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of the Reports to review Personal and Non-Personal cost
- Monitor budget performance and investigate variances, and support management presentations
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
- Evaluate the financial impact of various projects, investments, and operational changes.
- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to management and key stakeholders.
- Respond to ad hoc requests for financial analysis and reporting from various departments and senior management.
- Perform system maintenance on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis to ensure integrity of financial systems.
- Import and export files from financial and other databases, manage back-end systemic processes to enable forecast, annual planning and other ad hoc requests.
- Prepare Adhoc reports using various financial reporting systems (Essbase, Incorta, OBIEE etc)
- Conduct quarter-end close, including accrual entries, month end close processes and related variance analytics.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work cross-functionally with other teams to gather data and align financial assumptions.
- Learning & Development: Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and mentorship opportunities to gain exposure to corporate finance practices.
