The Community Living Specialist 1 implements the organization’s mission and values by supporting individuals to make positive changes in their lives. Individuals with direct care, residential care, day program, and human services experience strongly encouraged to apply! Qualifications:At least 4 years of experience with working with adults with disabilities, living on their own in the community required.Knowledge of CRS regulations and procedures preferredFamiliar with CT DDS programs; IDNV and CRS support taking individual's out into the community to do activities, giving medications in the CRS home, have mandated CT DDS trainings, Ability to use technology.Ability to work with a team, to provide the best support for the members in the home. High School/GED Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record and a reliable vehicle.
