Shipping Clerk/Forklift Driver

Via Seating is hiring for a Shipping Clerk/Forklift Driver to join our team in Sparks, NV!!

The Shipping Clerk/Forklift Driver is responsible for the efficient and accurate performance of all duties related to receiving, storing, and issuing raw material, products, and supplies by providing intermediate skill level in this area. This position requires certification on the specific industrial lift trucks used at Via.  Compliance with all processes and procedures starts with accurate counts of incoming materials. The Shipping Clerk/Forklift Driver is also responsible for handling outgoing merchandise in an organized manner by weighing packages, determining shipment methods by reading orders, creating bills of lading, arranging for shipment, updating records, and inserting items into containers. This position requires organizational skills, multitasking, attention to detail, good communication abilities, and basic computer skills.

This position requires certification on the specific industrial lift trucks used at Via. This certification is completed at Via and training is provided. This position is a safety sensitive position.

The Shipping and Inventory Clerk position is a Day Shift from 5:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Thursday with possible overtime on Fridays and/or Saturdays. 

Rate of Pay Starts between $20 - $22/hour, DOE!
