Inventory Associate

VGM Fulfillment is a national leader in CPAP machine and resupply order fulfillment. As an employee-owned company, every person at VGM has a personal stake in seeing business succeed. Job Purpose Summary

This job requires daily monitoring and evaluating of all inventories in VGM Fulfillment. Working with a team to count, store, and fill locations with products so that shelves are consistently filled within the facility and quality standards are met. Inventory associates are responsible for making sure the product is appropriately stocked on the shelves while helping to ensure quality standards are met. This will include doing active replenishments on the scanner regularly, as well as consolidating any extra product on the floor.

Working Location: On-Site at Lebanon, TN

Work Hours Classification:  Full-time, Monday-Friday, 2nd shift [3pm-11:30pm]

Key Responsibilities

• Consistently meet or exceed departmental expectations.
• Maintain all locations in the facility.
• Learn how to navigate company programs like D365.
• Pick location slotting analysis.
• Update item classification.
• Perform scheduled cycle counts.
• Perform inventory adjustments based on calls from the production floor.
• Unpicking orders (Return items form orders picked on the same day).
• Run transaction report to track down missing inventory.
• Locating any missing product or license plates are misplaced.
• Track and record inventory variance data ensuring it keep within our acceptable contractual variance levels.
• Be available to come in early and stay late as needed to provide adequate support for the business.
• Maintain a clean and safety work environment to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Maintain compliance, safety, and quality standards by ensuring strict adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Following safety procedures, maintaining precise records of all product movements, and implementing quality control measures are crucial.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working with others of varying backgrounds.
• Set a positive example through personal attendance and time management.
• Be willing and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment to support business objectives.
• Demonstrate accurate verbal and written communication skills.

Key Qualifications

• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• High school diploma/GED education or equivalent work experience.
• Must comply with continuing education per Company, regulatory, contractual, and accreditation requirements’.
• Previous leadership and/or training knowledge preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English at a level sufficient enough to perform the essential duties of the role, or be fluently bilingual in English and Spanish.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, and slide product and equipment typically weight up to 15lbs, and some weighting up to 30lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the facility for most of the workday.
• Ability to perform repetitive physical activities, including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
• Ability to safely use carts, dollies, hand trucks, barcode scanners, and other equipment to locate, retrieve, and transport products.
• Visual abilities sufficient to read labels, product information, safety notices, computer screens, and work instructions, including distance and peripheral vision.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English or Spanish, as necessary to safely perform the essential functions of the position, including understanding work instructions, product labels, safety procedures, equipment operation requirements, and workplace communications.
