Supervisor – Uvalde Warranty Center
As supervisor, you can have various areas of oversite which include log in, sewing, and shipping. With the largest area of responsibility being the sewing and repair activities for the Warranty Repair department which ensures all repairs are completed in 3 to 5 days from time of receipt to help analyze all construction methods and materials for improvement through failed product returns. To complete all “Point” transaction required within the system for above mentioned duties. Warranty Center Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a wide variety of activities involved with overseeing teams and planning methods that address customer repair requests, managing multiple processes that result in ultimately shipping the repaired goods back to the customer. This position will supervise and assign daily work, conduct performance feedback and coaching’s, address performance issues, and resolve problems. This position will be expected to fill in as required for all positions that report to him/her and ensure that direct reports work efficiently and effectively.
How You Will Make a Difference:
- Coordinates daily with the Department Manager, the requirements for their respective departments - receiving, log-in, sewing, shipping, prepping, repair, packing, etc.
- Implements work methods and procedures to increase the productivity and improved quality of service within each department.
- Communicates and enforces all policies/procedures to hourly associates to include safety, attendance, quality, and performance
- Works with Management/HR/Training to ensure staffing levels are appropriate for each department to meet the daily production needs.
- Works with Training Coordinator to communicate any training needs for new associates as well as re-training or cross training for current associates.
- Ensure work areas are clean and safe for all associates - reports any unsafe issues immediately.
- Performs all duties listed above as well as any other job-related duties as assigned.

Years of Related Professional Experience: 5 years
Educational/ Position Requirements:
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, outdoor company and sewn products.
- Minimum five (5) years supervisory experience.
- High School or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to read, write and speak English.
- Spanish helpful, but not a requirement.
- Ability to recognize and resolve problems quickly using sound judgment and diplomacy.
- Computer literate in a Windows Environment: Excel, Word and Power Point.
- Flexibility to change gears with little notice.
- Basic math skills.
- Legible handwriting.
- Detail oriented.
- Superior leadership and supervisory skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to use tact and diplomacy.
- Analytical abilities.

- Previous Leadership Experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent and minimum of three years of job-related experience, preferably in a distribution environment.
- Overall fluency in the English language both written and spoken
- Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software applications, especially Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
- Good to excellent spelling, grammar, and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
