- Perform first assisting roles interdependently with the surgeon, including maintaining hemostasis and supporting intraoperative procedures.
- Assist with room setup and teardown to facilitate patient flow.
- Support intraoperative technical functions such as applying local anesthetics and controlling bleeding.
- Operate within state laws and nursing practice acts, ensuring safe and optimal surgical outcomes.
- Current NV nursing license and OR certification (CNOR) from AORN.
- CRNFA or RNAS-C certification, with ongoing currency for employment.
- American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (if applicable).
- Experienced in assisting with surgical procedures and maintaining high standards of patient care.
