In-Patient Burn Nurse Manager (RN)

Role Overview: The Assistant Nurse Manager is a registered nurse supporting the nurse manager in leading a clinical unit or service. This role involves mentoring staff, promoting clinical and operational excellence, and ensuring quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with staff recruitment, retention, and performance evaluations.
• Support budget development and monitor fiscal outcomes.
• Foster teamwork and collaboration among staff, physicians, and other departments.
• Promote evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and compliance with regulations.
• Lead by example in professional practice, ethics, and service excellence.
• Participate in staff coaching, mentoring, and shared governance processes.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing.
• Valid RN licensure (single-state or multi-state compact).
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
• Desire to grow in nursing management and operational knowledge.
• Knowledge of healthcare financing, data utilization, and regulatory standards.
