ICU Registered Nurse

Medical ICU Nurse provides compassionate, high-acuity, evidence-based care for critically ill adults in the Medical ICU.

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and continuously monitor for clinical changes.
• Manage advanced life-support needs, including ventilators and intravenous drips.
• Administer medications safely and respond promptly to emergent patient status changes.
• Collaborate with intensivists, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Prioritize patient safety and quality outcomes through coordinated care delivery.
• Educate patients and families and support understanding of care and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR.
• Follow strict infection control practices and meet regulatory and clinical standards.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills: Strong critical-care nursing judgment, ability to manage ventilators and IV therapies, rapid intervention skills, effective teamwork, patient/family communication, and meticulous EMR documentation.
