VETS Securing America (VSA) is seeking a professional and dependable Armed Security Officer to join our team in Chesterfield, Virginia. Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible security presence at the assigned retail location.
- Patrol designated areas and monitor for suspicious activity.
- Enforce site policies and procedures.
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and security-related concerns.
- Provide exceptional customer service and positive engagement with visitors and staff.
- Complete accurate reports and documentation as required.
- Work effectively with management, law enforcement, and emergency personnel when necessary.
Qualifications
Required:
- Active Virginia DCJS Armed Security Officer License.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable armed security experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
Preferred:
- Retail security experience.
- Military or law enforcement background.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work outdoors and indoors as required.
- Ability to observe and respond quickly to security situations.

- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
- 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Compensation
- $21.00 per hour
