Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Armed Security Officer for an on-site position in Brownsville, TX. The Armed Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment by performing routine patrols, monitoring surveillance equipment, and controlling access to the premises. Additional tasks include responding to emergencies, providing detailed incident reports, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Officers will also collaborate with team members and maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity.
Qualifications
- Proficient in security procedures, patrol techniques, and emergency response protocols
- Strong observational skills, attention to detail, and ability to act swiftly in high-pressure situations
- Experience with operating surveillance and security equipment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with individuals professionally
- Ability to follow detailed procedures, provide accurate reporting, and adhere to regulations
- Valid state-issued security officer license and ability to carry a firearm
- Physical fitness to meet job requirements, including standing and walking for extended periods
