The Essentials
Hours: 35 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
Typically this looks like:
- 3 full days per week 8.30am–7pm (days vary on the rota)
- 1 in 3 weekends (shorter hours)
- Saturday 9–6
- Sunday 10–4
- Flexibility, rota changes and absence cover are part of the role.
- Overtime: expected
You’ll need:
- Experience in client-facing roles (essential)
- A professional appearance
- Confidence with computers, emails, software and digital comms

What a Typical Day Looks Like
Your day will be varied, lively and purposeful.
You’ll work across two key areas:
- Front-of-clinic client care
- Welcome clients and pets
- Answer questions clearly and confidently
- Register new clients
- Support existing clients with everything they need
- Bring a smart, positive, reassuring presence to the front of house
- Telephony digital client support
- Handle calls and digital communications
- Troubleshoot client queries
- Liaise closely with the clinical team
- Keep things organised, efficient and well-documented
You’ll also support:
- Admin tasks
- Team projects
- Process development
- Day-to-day clinic teamwork
