Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchasing Specialist located in Greenville, SC. The Purchasing Specialist will be responsible for managing and overseeing purchasing processes, creating purchase orders, and ensuring supply chain efficiency. Daily tasks include vendor communications, negotiating terms, tracking inventory levels, maintaining accurate purchasing records, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and materials to support production and operational needs.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Purchasing Processes, Purchasing, and managing Purchase Orders
- Demonstrated expertise in Purchase Management and procurement strategies
- Excellent Analytical Skills to evaluate supplier performance, costs, and supply data
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and supply chain software
- Detail-oriented with strong organization and communication abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial procurement is preferred
