Logistics Analyst Postal Operations
To work with COMNAVAIRPAC at NAS North Island.
Must hold Secret Security Clearance
The candidate shall evaluate shipboard services operations and facilities, conduct equipment assessments, and make recommen ded improvement s t o enhanc e postal operations.
The Candidate will prepar e report s an d submi t results , wit h recommendation s fo r improvements , fo r al l inspection s an d assessments conducted . Report s wil l b e provide d t o th e CNA F Service s Officer.
The candidate will review , analyz e, an d determin e LCM capabilitie s fo r the following installe d shipboar d systems - UMIDS , DDS, WINIATS , ATM , and Nav y Cas h an d Posta l program s a s the y appl y t o CNAF aircraf t carriers . Provid e trainin g fo r al l CNA F aircraf t carrier s utilizin g thes e systems.
The candidate will assist with implementation, monitoring, and training requirements associated with the DDS for all CNAF aircraft carriers.
Provide qualitative and quantitative techniques for analyzing and measuring shipboard supply services effectiveness. Perform independent analysis of shipboard services operations, cost-wise readiness, and initiatives that hav e o r wil l affect supporte d activities.
The qualified candidate will attend meetings to collect information; review, validate and provide analysis of processes and data; prepare draft reports , brief s, an d presentations ; and conduc t produc t demonstration s o f shipboar d service s equipmen t o r procedures a s specifie d b y th e CO R o r PM.
The candidate will have a strong working knowledge of Postal Operations, to Develop, Analyze, Asses, Train and Conduct operationa l audits , an d prepar e follow - u p report s evaluatin g effectivenes s o f systems implementations, to determin e use r trainin g need s.
Support the Government in research and development of Force Supply policies, procedures, an d guidanc e t o CNAF/CNA P supporte d units.

- The candidate will have a strong understanding of Mail Routing Instruction (MRI), Finance Window Operation and Mail Orderly Program.
- The candidate will be responsible for all Postal Officer Weekly Inspections, Postal Net Alert and Postal Offense Reporting and Post Office Standard Operation Procedures (SOP).
- The candidate will be responsible for Nesting of outgoing mail and Domestic/International Mail Acceptance and Regulations.
