This job will train you on how to troubleshoot, repair, and implement field modifications, working directly with customers to achieve reliability and satisfaction throughout the warranty period. What Your Day-to-day Will Look Like
- Commission and support warranty operations for locomotives and coaches
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Use diagnostic software and laptops for system assessments
- Interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and circuit plans
- Document failures, repairs, and modifications
- Implement Field Modifications (FMIs) to improve quality
- Communicate with team members and site leads
- Follow all company and industry safety procedures

- High school diploma (or GED)
- Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
- Individuals must possess a valid Driver's license in good standing
- Ability to read and understand schematics, maintenance, repair, and FMI documents
- Must have basic computer skills and work in Microsoft Office. SAP is a plus
- Must be willing and open to working various shifts and days off
- Candidates must be able to work independently and without much supervision
- Ability to work safely, report hazards, and recognize risks
